Animation Throwdown: The Collectible Card Game, simply known as Animation Throwdown, is an online collectible card game. It fuses elements and figures from the American animated television show Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad! and Bob’s Burgers.

The game features turn-based gameplay where players play cards from a simulated deck. Generally, you will compete against an AI who places cards from its respective deck onto the dashboard. Depending on the game mode, the AI’s hand may be generated automatically or could belong to some other player. Cards, opposite from each other fight, and if unchallenged, you can attack the rival cards “hero” tower. You will win the combat when the rival cards hero is vanquished.

A key strategy in this game is to combine a character card with an object card in the same slot. By doing so, you will turn them into a stronger combination or “combo”. Cards generally feature visuals from a single show while some of the lower-level cards, such as “Alcohol,” “Baseball,” and “Music,” are generic. Cards are played in front of a background image of a structure or location associated with either of the shows.

Speaking of Combos, today we will be taking a quick overview of the best Animation Throwdown combos you can execute in the game. The key to winning is to match the proper opponent card with the right combo. We will outline some of the winning combinations. The game’s best skills include Crazed, Cripple, Leech, Shield, or Block for Defense, as well as other general high-skill values.

Animation Throwdown Combos

Basic/Starter Combos

You can execute basic or starter combos using common cards. These combos are beneficial at the start of the game. Check out some of the Animation Throwdown combos below for more details.

Responsible Cocaine User

Bullock produces high health and the skills Sturdy, Gas, and Boost when combined with anything addicting. This combination creates a fantastic all-around card that won’t die easily and improves your neighboring cards. The fundamental combination goes with Manitoba cigarettes or painkillers. You will surely get better stats with toad licking, crack, or butterscotch cookies.

Withdrawal Steve

This combo is the Steve variant of the last one. Steve always deals severe damage because it combines his Payback and Crazed talents. This combination utilizes the same cards used in Responsible Cocaine User Bullock, including Painkillers, Crack, Toad Licking, Butterscotch Cookies, and Dr. Flim Flam’s Miracle Cream.

Shots Klaus

Want to combine shield and sturdy skills? In early matches, Klaus will become your all-purpose defender, who is guaranteed to frustrate the opposition. Just combine Klaus with anything that has to do with alcohol, such as the standard Liquor card, Roger’s Place, and Teddy’s Brewski. Rarer cards, like the Alamo Beer and Pawtucket Patriot Ale, work better when you use them to fuse the combo.

Slurm Loco

Although a rare card is needed for this combination, the chances of obtaining the card early in the game are high. To achieve this combo, simply combine Fry and Slurm in this case to create a card that comes with Leech and Cripple All’s superpowers. You can also combine the legendary Phillip J. Fray card with Slurm for a more potent variant.

Brewmaster Teddy

Teddy’s extremely high Gas skill allows him to quickly eliminate even the highest health card. Simply combine Teddy with any alcoholic beverage to achieve this one. It’s sufficient to use Beer Water, Teddy’s Brewski, Teddy’s Place, The Drunken Clam, Custom Beer Mug, or Best Swamp Parties.

Drunken Clam

Advance Combos

Advance combos, as the classification suggests, require advance cards to execute. You can execute these combos as you progress further into the game.

$300 Knife

Because of its overwhelming nature and combination of Crazed, Jab, and Crippled talents, this will become your go-to combo. You would always attempt to draw this Animation Throwdown combo. You can use a rare Bob and most weapons, including the Fukinawa and Pantry Guns, to create the $300 Knife. Moreover, when you include more uncommon weapons the combination becomes genuinely overwhelming.

Drunk Peggy

L Peggy goes bonkers when she drinks! She can breach enemy defenses using Jab, Crazed, and Cripple. The best part is that she gets stronger with each strike. Both Mythic Peggy and Regular Peggy can perform this combo. If you want the drunk version, mix her with anything like Pawtucket Patriot Ale, Olde Fortran Malt Liquor, or wine shoe.

Billdozer

Billdozer is a true beast – Strong, Shielding, and Crazy! School and Cougar Football Team are the only exceptions to the rule that most of his combos need for an uncommon or better card. Combine bill with Pearl Bailey High School, Touchdown Dance, Wagstaff School, Tom Mars University, or Landy Middle School to produce the finest combo version.

The One-Eyed Bean Machine

The One-Eyed Bean Machine combo can easily defeat a strong defense and high health with a crazy powerful blow. To achieve this combo, you need to combine Leela with almost any sports-related track, like baseball, Wrestling, Cougar Football Team, Touchdown Dance, or Blernsball. You can use a Mythic Leela card instead for insanely high Punch level damage.
