Arknights Recruitment Guide

One of the most important tasks in Arknights is acquiring operators. Without a decent roster of operators, progression is going to be a pain in the neck unless you have real-world currency to spare. With that said, there are two methods for finding new operators in this strategy game. The first is Headhunting, which is a classic gacha mechanic where you use premium currency and tickets to draw a diverse group of allies at random. The second approach is Arknights Recruitment, where players utilize a Recruitment Ticket and LMD (Lungmen Dollars).

These elements will help you select some inputs to generate a semi-random Operator. Speaking of which, today we will be focusing on recruitment since it will not cost you that much to execute.

Arknights Recruitment Guide

Once the simple objectives are all accomplished, freemium gamers may find it tough to obtain Orundum. Thankfully, there are other ways than the Gacha system to acquire additional characters. One example is the Recruitment feature to find more operators if you have enough Recruitment Permits on hand. Any player who is serious about their daily tasks should have these all the time.

Arknights Operators

You must choose two things in recruitment: the amount of time you want to spend looking for a specific recruit and the qualities you want them to possess. The more time you give the search, the less likely you are to find low-rarity operators. At the same time, the more likely it is that your new hire possesses all the required qualities. But you have to get their characteristics just perfect to come up with some of the best characters.

Criteria that Influence the Arknights Recruitment Process

Below are the criteria you need to consider during the recruitment process;

Tags

For the player to have a chance to recruit higher-rarity operators, you must trigger more precise combinations of their attributes. You can also only acquire a few characters through recruitment, so keep that in mind. They, too, possess particular characteristic combinations. You can employ an expedited plan. It’s immediate but ensures the same outcomes as if the search had followed its normal course to hasten the outcomes of a recruitment process.

Each recruiter will receive five tags, five of which will be semi-random and define different aspects of the Operators. The player can choose between 0–3 tags to affect how the recruitment turns out. The player’s chosen Tags will be given to the Operator unless:

  1. During the Recruitment Period, you lose the Tag, which can occur at any time.
  2. The player chooses Tags that are strictly exclusive (for example, Medic Class Tag and Guard Class Tag)

There are four Tag Classifications, which are stated below in bold case, along with any potential Tags that fall under that classification:

  • Qualifications: Starter, Senior, and Top Operator
  • Position: Ranged and Melee
  • Class: Special, Supporter, Caster, Defender, Sniper, Vanguard, Medic, Guard, and Supporter
  • Affix: Nuker, Robot, Fast-Redeploy, Shift, Summon, Support, Slow, DPS, Healing, DP-Recovery, Survival, Defense, AoE

Duration

The game sets the time spent in increments of 10 minutes from 0 to 9 hours. Longer recruitment timeframes reduce the possibility of receiving Operators of lesser rarity. Also, there’s a likelihood that one of the Tags will be dropped from the search. The LMD cost of the recruitment does, however, rise over time.

You may use an Expedited Plan to complete the recruiting as soon as the Recruitment Period begins. Using an Expedited Plan has no consequences; the outcomes are the same as they would have been having the Recruitment Period been allowed to run its course.

Acquiring Permits

Although you cannot purchase Recruitment Permits, there are numerous ways to earn them frequently in the game. To maximize your recruitment powers, we’ll explain how to farm up your recruitment permits in this article. You will have the bare minimum you require to build up a sufficient supply of recruitment licenses even if you use the daily quest to recruit three times per day.

Permit Locations

  • The first and second stages of the Commendations Store offer 15 and 20 Recruitment Permits for 8 and 15 Commendation Certificate, respectively, with the stock being reset every month.
  • The Credit Store occasionally sells Recruitment Permits for a starting cost of 160 Credit
  • Daily missions result in the award of one Recruitment Permit, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday, when two Recruitment Permits are given (for a total of 9 Recruitment Permits per week).
  • You can earn up to 10 Recruitment Permits by finishing your weekly objectives.
  • Enhancement Packs come with up to 35 Recruitment Permits.

General Tips

  1. Try to select a set of tags that will ensure at least a 4-star Operator or a set of tags the player is specifically seeking. To lessen the likelihood of dropping any of the tags, keep in mind to limit the recruitment time to a maximum of nine hours.
  2. Remember to limit the time to no more than 3 hours and 50 minutes if the player wants to obtain Robot Operators (Castle-3, Lancet-2, and THRM-EX) since anything longer will disqualify them from becoming 1-star Operators.
  3. The player can set the time to 7 hours and 40 minutes to conserve LMD, which is the shortest time possible to ensure at least 3-star Operators and at most 5-star Operators, assuming the set of tags did not guarantee specific Operators.
  4. If a player is exceptionally lucky to receive the Senior or Top Operator tag, they should always choose one of them. At the same time, increase the recruiting time to its maximum setting.
    * The Top Operator tag will never drop out if you choose a tag that counteracts it (such as Starter), and you set the time to a maximum of 9 hours. The Senior Operator designation will hardly ever disappear under the same circumstances.
  5. Since 3-star Operators are the most prevalent candidates in the recruitment process, players should attempt to maximize the potential of their Operators early on in the game. Recruitment later in the game is an excellent way to earn Commendation Certificate and Distinction Certificate, especially if the player is fortunate enough to frequently receive 4-star Operators.
  6. As soon as the game adds a new Operator to the pool of recruitable Operators, all current tags you use will be updated. Therefore, you must use the tags as soon as the player receives them.
