As you enter the game, you will take the shoes of someone in the real world enjoying playing Mega Max X. And, for some reason, while playing the game, you get disappointed with the internet for reasons that you can understand. From there, you will meet a particular character who will explain that you have been moved to the “Deep Log”.

Deep Log is an informational domain where all information from the Megaman games is restored. After explaining the whereabouts of Deep Log, you will find yourself playing Megaman on the first stage, and this starts your journey in returning the corrupt data to normal. You will learn how to jump, dash, and shoot in the first stage.

As you progress in the game, you will notice some irregularities like wrong bosses that don’t belong. By detecting these deformities, you can suspect that something is manipulating the game data and modifying things for some motives.

The MEGA MAN X DiVE gameplay is actually easy. At each stage, you need some platforming derived from the actual game levels of Mega Man X. Along with the levels, you also need to collect several characters by using a gacha or summoning system by Metals that looks like rainbow hexagons.
