Purge The Mutants in Project Clean Earth

The goal of Project Clean Earth is simple and that’s to kill all the mutants occupying the apocalyptic world. And since these mutants are dangerous, the remaining humans sent out the robot Bernard to do the job for them. Bernard will be equipped with simple weapons at first. But as he levels up, you can equip more powerful weapons on him. You can even combine range, melee, and AoE weapons on the robot to make it easier to deal with the swarm of mutants.

The gameplay of Project Clean Earth is similar to that of roguelike where you control and move Bernard around to avoid mutants. He will automatically attack and he can do it while also moving. But there are also elements of RPG where you can do permanent upgrades on Bernard to make him stronger. Making Bernard strong is needed since the game becomes harder to play as you progress. Then there are also the boss mutants that you’ll have to deal with at certain levels.

Getting Rid of All the Mutants in the Roguelike RPG

Project Clean Earth uses roguelike gameplay, which provides easy control. You don’t have to worry about anything else except moving and dodging mutant attacks. Bernard will automatically attack enemies, even while you’re moving. But despite the easy controls, the game is still challenging to play. And this is primarily because of the huge wave of mutants you’ll deal with. You can get overwhelmed if you’re not careful where you move.

Bernard can upgrade his weapons to help you deal with the huge wave of mutants. Like with roguelike games, you’re given three options to choose from whenever Bernard levels up during the purging mission. Upgrades are not permanent, but they can be very helpful to complete the mission of Project Clean Earth. You have the freedom to choose what combination you want. But it’s best to combine ranged, melee, and AoE weapons. Don’t forget to upgrade the damage as well.

There will be artifacts that you can pick up. You can also pick up health that mutants drop. These will ensure Bernard won’t run out of HP. When you’re not completing missions, you can also do permanent upgrades to the weapons or to Bernard to make him stronger. They will help you deal with the huge waves of mutants and bosses.
