One of the duos’ notable abilities called Switch Effect allows them to blast through all types of barriers while dramatically increasing their attack in the process. In addition, this powerful tandem also comes with a decent health recovery ability, making this the tandem to watch out for.

2. Monkey D. Luffy Gear Four: Snakeman

Monkey D. Luffy Gear Four: Snakeman is considered one of the best captains for rainbow troops. The ability of this character is a full upgrade from his pre-super evolution form. With a reduced CD and a higher ATK boost, this captain can provide your crew two types of slots of matching effects for your team instead of just one.

3. Douglas Bullet Monster Losing Sight of His Goal

Once a member of the Roger Pirates, Douglas Bullet Monster Losing Sight of His Goal used his awakened ability to absorb the Navy’s Fleet turning him into a titan or giant entity. Douglas Bullet Monster Losing Sight of His Goal is as powerful as he looks and is considered one of the most powerful characters in the game.

4. Sabo & Koala Youthful Revolutionary Aces

Sabo & Koala Youthful Revolutionary Aces is a tandem composed of the Revolutionary Army’s Chief of Staff and a soldier named Sabo and Koala. Just like the first entry on our list, this tandem is considered one of the strongest units in the game as well.

5. Carrot Mink Tribe’s True Form

Carrot Mink Tribe’s True Form is another powerful character with a unique special ability that doubles the Fighter, Slasher, Striker, Shooter, and Cerebral characters’ slot effects for 1 turn. Carrot Mink Tribe’s True Form also comes with a Captain Ability that reduces the charge time for Specials by 2 turns at the beginning of the quest. This ability also boosts Fighter, Slasher, Striker, Shooter, and Cerebral characters’ ATK by 2.75x.

6. Whitebeard & Marco, The Fierce Battle at the Paramount War

Whitebeard and Marco is another powerful character tandem made up of the Captain and commander of the Whitebeard Pirates’ first division. This tandem comes with the Blue Flame Shockwave Special that slashes 30% of the enemy’s HP while recovering 20,000 HP for the team. The Captain ability called Familial Bonds comes with a “Very Good” rating due to its assorted effects and decent damage output.

7. Charlotte Katakuri A Man’s Battle

As one of the sweet three generals of the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Katakuri is another powerful character in the game that ranks high on the tier list. The Special of this character called Burning Mochi can deal 30x the amount of accumulated damage by the character before the launch of the special. The Captain’s ability called Recognizing a Powerful Enemy can boost the ATK of Slashers, Fighters, Shooters, Driven, and Powerhouse characters.

8. Bartolomeo & Cavendish – Man-Eater & Nobleman Fighting Together

Bartolomeo and Cavendish is another tandem made up of the Captain of the Barto Pirates and the Captain of the Beautiful Pirates. This duo comes with a special called Blade and Barrier Onslaught that can deal up to 75x typeless damage to all enemies. Their Captain ability called Cabbage and Lomeo’s Tag Team can boost the ATK while reducing damage for Driven characters.

9. Monkey D. Luffy, Surpassing the Strongest with his Crew

Featuring the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, this character features the Gum-Gum King Kong Gattling Special that can inflict 120x typeless damage to all enemies. The Special also amplifies the orb effect and boosts the character’s base attack. The Captain Ability called Qualities of a New Pirate King can boost STR, DEX, and PSY’s ATK. In addition, this ability also boosts the character’s ATK by 4.5x.

10. Sanji and Judge Parting of Father and Son

Number 10 in our list is the father and son duo of Sanji and Judge. This tandem comes with a Special called Crack and Strike that can reduce paralysis of the team in five turns. The Captain’s ability called Sweet Scheme-Destroying Flash comes with three effects: one for Sanji, one for Judge, and another for the duo. Sanji and Judge are the first duos in the game that feature two characters of the same type.
