The evil pigs are at it again. But this time you’ll deal with them in outer space in Angry Birds Space. It’s an action puzzle game where Rovio’s popular game takes to outer space. You will try to prevent the pigs from entering Earth and taking all the eggs. You try to work around the varying gravity forces of the nearby planets in the Solar System.
It’s a fun dynamic to deal with and you can even take advantage of these gravity forces when dealing with the pigs. We’ll talk more about this when we look deeper at how the gameplay of Angry Birds Space works.
Deal with Gravity Forces when Taking Out Pigs
The gameplay of Angry Birds Space is similar to that of other Angry Birds games. You’ll use a slingshot to launch angry birds and take out all the pigs to move to the next level. But what’s unique in this game is that you will have to deal with various forces in your environment. One is zero gravity since you’ll play in outer space. But certain levels will have nearby planets, which will have their gravity forces.
It affects the trajectory that the bird will travel to after launch. What’s great is that these gravity forces can also be helpful. You just need to know how to take advantage of their pull when you launch the angry birds. Expect to encounter these types of forces in the many interstellar levels Angry Birds Space have.
Taking Out Pigs in Angry Birds Space
The ultimate goal in Angry Birds Space is to take out all the pigs in each level. You will have different types of angry birds to use as ammo and each will have its superpowers to help you. But as mentioned earlier, an interesting part of the game is dealing with the environment of space. Many of the interstellar levels in the game will have planets that have gravitational forces to affect the angry bird’s trajectory.
One example is when you’re battling near the planet Mercury in Angry Birds Space. It can pull the trajectory down, so you’ll need to adjust your aim to account for that. There’s also zero gravity, which you can take advantage of. You just need to hit meteors or other space objects a bit to make it move and hit the evil pigs. A fun and exciting zero-gravity space game that still makes use of fundamental physics while adding new forces at play.
