Getting Started

Tears of Themis is unlike many games out there since there won’t be step-by-step instructions. However, there will still be a prologue, which will introduce you to the gameplay. You can choose to skip it, but it would be great to go through with it so you will have an idea of how the game works. You will begin in a dream-like scenario where you are given two choices—to wake up or to explore.

If you choose to wake up, you’ll skip the prologue and if you choose to explore, you can continue. You can skip the dream story any time via the skip button at the upper right. From here on out, there won’t be any choices as you’ll only have one option to pick from. After you complete the dream, you play the game for real.

Find Clues & Meet New People

As you play, there will be some pop-ups to explain certain scenarios, people, locations, and so on. This acts as your guide and will explain certain features of the game. Since this is a detective story, a lot of the gameplay will revolve around examining items, to find clues and evidence to help solve the case or mystery.

As you progress in the story, you will also be meeting various characters along the way. Some of them can even be a love interest, but it will depend on the choices and options that you pick as you progress.
