Getting Started With Your Kingdom in Townsmen PC
The great thing about Townsmen is that you can choose to have a tutorial or not. But for starters, it’s ideal to undergo the tutorial since it will teach you the basics of the game. It also makes it easier for you to know what you need to do. When you start, you’ll only have your castle and a Townhouse.
The Townhouse is where your citizens will live, and each Townhouse holds two citizens: a man and a woman. The man will be your worker, so he’ll be the one who usually constructs new buildings. Meanwhile, the woman’s role is to take care of the Townhouse while stocking supplies that your town will need.
Your kingdom will require various resources to thrive like food, water, wood, metal, and so on. Each of the resources you’ll need has a corresponding building that you’ll need to build. For example, you can build the Forester’s Hut for wood and the Fisherman’s Hut for food.
Each building will need a worker to operate them, or else, it will turn idle. That being said, you need to construct more Townhouses to increase your citizens. That way, you’ll have enough for operating buildings and for constructing.
As you play, you’ll need to monitor the stats of your town. See if the happiness of your citizens is high or low. If their happiness is low, that will result in low productivity. Moreover, citizens who are not happy will also likely complain if you increase taxes as each Townhouse will give taxes after a specific period. Generally, the happiness of the citizens depends on the necessities that they have, such as food and water. Other than that, it also depends if their desires were fulfilled.
